Frouwke Viewing - Biography
Born in Springs, South Africa January 1938.
Her father had started Kamativi tin mine as a large-scale operation in 1955.
Born on a gold mine, lived on tin (Dutch East Indies) and bauxite Mines (Suriname) and worked with geologists.
Technical Expertise:
Geochemistry Laboratory Technician, Rhodesian Selection Trust Exploration, Harare.
1959-1963: Geochemistry Lab Tech., School of Mines, Imperial College.
2008: Emigrated to Italy with husband Professor Keith Viewing, geologist, living and working near Rome.
